Mr. AKM Mozammel Haqananani Minister’s Life Profile AKM Mozammel Haque was born on 1 October 1946 in the village of Dakhin Khan of Gazipur sadar upazila. His father’s name is late Dr. Anwar Ali and mother’s name is Mortama Rabeya Khatun. AKM Mozammel Haque is a bright political life. Since his student life, he is involved in active politics. He is the member of the East Pakistan Chhatra League Central Executive Committee and for two terms, he has been the co-general secretary for two terms. He is the founder general secretary of Gazipur subdivision BCL. Since 1976, he has been serving as the General Secretary and President of Gazipur District unit Awami League, who is 38 years long. He is a brave freedom fighter and organizer. On March 19, 1971, he was the first leader of the armed resistance committee in Gazipur to lead the war against Brigadier Jahan Jeb in the direction of Bangabandhu. He signed special skills in the operation of the local government. From 1973 to 1986, he was chairman of the Union Parishad 3 times. From 1989 to 2008, the municipal chairman and mayor elected four times. He was elected as the Chairman of the country’s best Union Parishad several times and the Best Municipal Chairman of 1996 and 2003. The head office of the Dhaka Sadar North Subdivision (SDO Office) was shifted to Gazipur and later in the implementation of Gazipur district, he was largely single. In 2008, he resigned from municipal mayor and was elected a member of the parliament from Gazipur-1 and served as the President of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Land. In the elections held on January 5, 2014, he is currently serving as the Minister of the Liberation War Affairs Ministry.
